Part time/Seasonal Catering Assistants
Food@Events is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Catering Assistants to join our team for the upcoming summer season. We provide high-quality mobile catering services for a variety of events and festivals, and we need reliable, customer-focused staff to help us create unforgettable experiences for our guests. As a Catering Assistant, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring that customers receive excellent service and enjoy their time at our units.
Key Responsibilities:

Set Up & Pack Down: Assist in setting up and packing down the catering units at the beginning and end of each event, ensuring everything is prepared and ready to go.

Customer Service Excellence: Serve customers with a smile, take orders, handle payments, and ensure a positive and welcoming experience for all guests.

Food and Beverage Preparation: Assist in preparing food and drinks to the highest standards, ensuring quality and safety in all aspects of service.

Communication & Teamwork: Work closely with team members to ensure smooth operations and high efficiency. Strong communication skills are key.

Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform cleaning duties related to the service area and equipment, ensuring everything remains clean, organized, and hygienic according to health and safety guidelines.

Follow Health and Safety Guidelines: Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed to maintain a safe and compliant environment for both staff and customers.
- Payment Handling: Process payments efficiently and accurately using the POS (Point of Sale) system.
Job Overview:

- Working Hours: Weekends (May – September), with occasional Bank Holidays
- Location: Various event locations (please be flexible with travel)
